Donate
FIR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every dollar funds community assessments, training development, and the framework that prepares American communities for threats the federal government cannot address at scale. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
Where Your Donation Goes
Free Assessments
Every Fresh Start assessment is delivered at no cost to the community. Assessor time, data processing, and document generation are funded by donations.
Training Development
Building the national curriculum — BSE 099 through CBRA certification — requires instructional design, LMS infrastructure, exam development, and digital badge integration.
Threat Research
The three-volume threat assessment series, the Reference Architecture, and the Grading Rubric are updated continuously from open-source intelligence. Research takes time. Time takes funding.
