Foster relationships and knowledge transfer for mutually assured civilian survival. This includes scenarios of civilian resilience during long-term disruption or cessation of critical infrastructure. We aim to promote awareness of shared threats and risks, enable mitigation, identify solutions, and design and where feasible undertake pilot experiments.
Goals:
1. Facilitate Information Exchange: Provide a forum for the exchange of global emerging threat and mitigating infrastructure information and OSINT.
2. Nurture Collaboration: Establish and maintain a collaborative environment that fosters communication, and intellectual and academic freedom; allowing exploration of difficult challenges to global civilian survival.
3. Policy: Collect data on governmental, civil, and commercial approaches to critical infrastructure resilience.
4. Education and Awareness: Provide timely recommendations, and create targeted educational activities, training, consultation, publications, proposals, designs, specifications and prototypes, and to coordinate experiments and deployments.
5. Information Creation: Provide relevant information to the FIR repository.
